Safety at work is a necessary requirement for any kind of work. The technical organizational as well as personal conditions are considered to guaranty a safe way of working. Because of the new law for safety at work the topic especially roof safety has become a considerably aspect for companies and private persons.

In Austria and Germany special institutions for work safety and the respective accident prevention & insurance associations are responsible for the correctness of safety systems on the roof.

For example in case of an accident on the roof without providing a safety solution in advance according to the work safety regulations the employer has the full responsibility.

The company INNOTECH Arbeitsschutz GmbH was founded on 18.01.2001.
Since this point of time INNOTECH developes and patents work safety products which are produced only by ISO
– certified companies in Austria. These innovative, technical products (=INNOTECH products) are distributed world wide by trained expert companies.

Because of the company's internal product development, cooperation with different insurance institutions and public authorities for work safety as well as using the newest testing methods, INNOTECH is in the position to indicate always new directions in the area of job safety.

INNOTECH has developed together with the AUVA (general accident insurance institution: Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt) and the AI (working inspector for construction building: Arbeitsinspektorrat) suggestions for the right planning of roof safety systems. These suggestions should support the architects, planners and assembling companies.

During the development of the new roof hook DAS 01 the experiences and the new knowledge of the INNOTECH company changed the standard EN 517 in Austria. For some special locations only roof hooks which are proved in all directions like the INNOTECH DAS 01 and SDH 02 are allowed. Roof hooks which are not proved like mentioned above, are a potential danger for the safety (see the video DAS/SDH).

The INNOTECH company has the ambition to develop on the one hand simple and on the other hand safe products for a secure working place. These products are proved additional to the standards (e.g. EN 795) also attached with the respective foundations.

To work out the best solutions the INNOTECH company developes these safety articles together with public authorities and institutions (like general accident insurance institution, working inspector for construction building, job cooperative society and so on …) and uses the newest developing and testing methods.
